When it comes to capturing your wedding day, finding the right photography style is everything. Some couples dream of high-fashion, cinematic

My approach to capturing effortless elegance, real emotion, and unforgettable moments

Every wedding is its own story—a beautiful mix of people, energy, and emotion. As a NYC-based wedding photographer, I’ve learned that it’s not just about what happens in front of the lens, but how I move through the day with intention, intuition, and connection. Here are the top five things I focus on when documenting your day:

1. Building Connection from the Start

Yes, I love a chic editorial image—but I’m also here to connect. From the moment I arrive, I intentionally build rapport with you, your family, and your closest people. That connection matters. It helps everyone feel at ease, and allows me to capture photos that are natural and relaxed. I know when to step in and when to step back, always aiming to blend in so your day feels uninterrupted.

2. Anticipating the In-Between Moments

Experience has taught me to read the rhythm of a wedding day. I watch, listen, and anticipate—ready to catch the quiet glances, quick laughs, and fleeting reactions that can so easily be missed. These are the moments that breathe life into your gallery, and I pride myself on knowing where to be before they even happen.

3. Documenting Emotion

What draws me to weddings is simple: people. The joy, the nerves, the tears, the dancing—there’s so much emotion packed into one day. I focus on capturing that emotional range with honesty and care. These are the photos that age well, the ones that feel like you.

4. Crafting a Cohesive Story

Great wedding photography is more than a highlight reel. It’s a complete narrative—from the quiet anticipation of getting ready to the last song on the dance floor. I shoot with story in mind, creating a visual thread that ties the entire day together. So when you revisit your gallery, it doesn’t just show what happened—it feels like the day itself.

And last, but not least?

5. Letting Loose on the Dance Floor

Once the formalities fade, the real fun begins. The dance floor is where everyone lets go, and I love being in the middle of it—capturing the joy, the movement, and the unforgettable antics. Whether it’s a lift, a dip, or a full-crowd singalong, I’m there to freeze the moment so you can relive it later, smile and all.
